Benefits of Private Sessions

 

Many people start attending a Tai Chi Class only to find learning the Form a very demanding task. Should they miss a class there is a tendency not to return, for fear of having been left behind. Others feel that they appear to never progress, since the class returns to the start of the Form each time new people join.

 

We focus on the teaching off short Qi Kung forms, which are easy to learn and remember and by regular practice bring benefits to health, breathing and mobility.

 

A private session, once a month, enables a person to progress in learning Qi Kung quicker than in a class situation. It also allows us to focus on specific parts of the body, or areas where energy is lacking to bring speedy results.

 

A typical session starts with a warm up, followed by a Qi Kung Form (Ba Juan Jin, Lotus, Tong Lin, etc). We then look a various exercises to cleanse and fortify the meridians and close with some standing meditation for example the Zhan Zhuang. Sessions vary to suit the individual.
