Vivien Skelton
Vivien was first introduced to yoga over thirty years ago. Although practice was intermittent in the beginning, her love of yoga has always been there and has developed more and more deeply over the years. She decided to train with British Wheel of Yoga to become a teacher and share her love of yoga with others.
Before commencing her teacher training she completed a one-year intensive course of pranayama foundation and teacher training.
She is very enthusiastic and very committed to her practice and is always deepening her knowledge with further studies, which have included two intensive weeks of pranayama, several meditation courses and a psoas muscle workshop. Almost on a weekly basis at times, over many years she has been attending various yoga seminars and workshops enabling her to gain a wealth of experience of the differing aspects of yoga
Since completing her training with the British Wheel of Yoga, Vivien has continued her personal development by attending the one-year course, Yoga and Anatomy series for Teachers, the Pranayama post graduate course and also the British Wheel of Yoga Meditation Modules 1 and 2. The most recent course, Anatomy of Asana has concluded.
Vivien’s love of yoga is so passionate; it is now a way of life for her. She likes to encourage others to come along and try yoga and reap its benefits as she has done over the many years of practice.
